    Default finally catching a few

it took my 4 year old to find them, but the last week or so, we have caught quite a few in a local city lake, not a place I've ever really fished, other than taking him out to snag a few bluegill. He already has his long-arm picture technique down as you can see. Took the wife out this weekend and found a few good sized ones. I've still got a few bags in the freezer so all were returned to be caught again.

He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

The first crappie i ever remember catching was below one of those old clip on bobber's a split shot and a hook with a minnow when my Dad would take me fishing at a local lake from the bank, I can still see that old balsa wood moving off to the side and slowly going under, disappearing, at an even pace. Great memory's that started a lifelong passion. Looks like a Pro to me.

Nice job! I recognize some land marks in your pictures. I grew up fishing that small lake. We moved there in 1984 when there were more woods than neighborhoods out there. Not bad sizes crappie for that lake.
