    Default Fun trip yesterday

Got off work earlier than I expected and decided to give it a try.caught 12 crappie with 8 being keepers.and probably more good blue gill than that.i threw every Bobby garland I had at them with nothing.even tried minnows and only caught gills on them.i found a pack of black and chartreuse sliders in my box.put one on with a plain jig head and it was on.crappie or gill about every cast.most fun I've had in a while.

Sounds like a great day! I keep atleast two packs of those same sliders with me at all times.
