    Default twin units

OK I'm sure there is a reason of it but what the biggest avenge of the twin units. If you double up on them how would you set the up.

My console units aren't twins but I'm running an HDS7 on a ram mount and an HDS9 touch on a dash mount on the console. The biggest advantage for me is being able to use the 9touch full screen for structure scan while using the othe unit for mapping.

I have a lowrance touch 7 and 9 on the bow.The top unit is the 9 and I run it on 2d and mapping zoomed all the way in.The bottom unit is a 7 and run down imagining and mapping zoomed out some ,it's zoomed out some so I can tell which waypoint to go to next and I dont have to mess with the zoomed in map.I also run the 7 sidescanning when going from waypoint to waypoint and mark new structure.

I have 3 Touch 12's in the Ranger. Two at the dash and one up front. I use GPS/Sonar on one unit and Structure Scan side and down on the other at the dash. Gives you a much bigger picture that way. Adding a mega 10 at both the dash and front to run Lakemaster card and 360. Not going to use the sonar, SI, or DI on these two.

So one unit runs on the puck transducer for 2d and the other unit runs on the structure scan transducer for side and down view with both of them linked together was wanting to set 2 units up on the bow was wondering how you set them up I'm guessing one runs off of the transom transducer just linked to a unit at the dash

I'm think I like that. Where you set them up for there own think. Is it better to have the same makers HB or Lowrance so they can be link together. I have 2 lowrance 7s I could use that give me a bigger picture. I have to see if I got a multi viewer on a 60" tv for my boat

I use 3 hds7 touch units. I can't hear, but my vision is still works. No need for big screens. The bigs ones would probably flip my little boat over anyway.
