Default I have a trip planned for Logan Martin the last week of March

Was wondering if anyone that fishes that area could give some "forecasted" insight before I waste a drive from Indiana based on what is occurring now. Last year around that same time we didn't do bad but had hoped for better catches. The lake was way down and was wondering what it is like now?

Thanks for the "Southern Hospitality" I very well may take you up on the offer. I am fairly new to the "serious" crappie game and I am certainly impressed with the level of sportsmanship and willingness to help out that I am seeing....

Fishing has been very slow on Logan Martin. Hope it picks up, I live here but have been fishing Weiss and Neeley Henry.

Thanks for the info Crappieflopper. How's the water level looking. Do you believe it will kick in at Logan Martin later on in the month?

Fishing for me on Logan Martin has been terrible this year. I normally do outstanding long lining but this is the worse I have ever seen it this year. Water temps warmed up way ahead of normal so I think we have some confused crappie along with confused fisherman. I'm off Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday next week, if weather is ok I'll be going at it again, but don't have a clue where to go since its been so bad.

Logan Martin has been a little off the last couple of years for me but we still catch plenty of fish every time we go. They should be spawning around that time. The water is higher than normal this year but is still low and probably will be then as well. Come on down if there not biting on logan you can be on Neely Henry are wedowee in less than a hour. Wedowee will be on fire then I can help you out there or might be able to go with you. Just pm me.
