I fished with Ree's back in the fall when he had it hooked to a 1198 or 1199. Took me about 1 1/2 to figure out what it was showing and how to decider it. But once you understand what you are looking at it is awesome. I can't wait to see what it looks like on that Helix unit. If I could afford it one would be on my boat right now.

Just background. 360 does not get as clear as SI will if you really get dialed in BUT its much easier to get it where I have it now than SI is to adjust, to me anyways.
SI IS IN THE PAST!!!!!!! Looking forward with the 360 is real time and you are seeing what is coming up.

Wannabe... thanked you for this post
Hey, Rees! SI is in the past, yes BUT, you love cranking.....and when cranking, you can see a bait ball or fish before your cranks get there 100' behind you! Your ULTIMATE SOLUTION, put your 360 on your bow with the 360.(newspaper men make good money). Then you got water borne radar with your 360 and your Helix 12 to see the rear....then you'll run over somebody when you're trying to watch 2 screens at the same time

I rarely fish with more than 70 foot of line out cranking and the 360 sees as good as SI does for cranking.

We had just moved to deeper water in this picture so I had not lightened the screen on 360 yet. I also didn't have the offset correct thus the difference in depth readings. 360 is at a different depth than trolling motor transducer you can see the difference in water temps. The side Imaging on left side appears stretched due to transducer being on trolling motor which I had just moved to the right. You can see the log to the left on 360 that we were approaching. The logs and limbs on Side Imaging had already passed by.
