I ran down to Cane Creek Park for a few hours. Strange pattern.Water temp at 9am was 60 degrees, I caught on in 17 fow as the temp hit 63. Then later in 66 % 24fow I picked up 2 more. That was it for the day, the largest was in the 17 water. All on minnows tight lined. One other boat reported 5 using floats.
It was a perfect day to be on th e water
I was out last Saturday and nothing for me. There were a few boats out and they weren't catching many either. I was marking a lot if fish but nothing was hungry.
What was your total?
Oh I could wrestle a monster fish
We did a little better on Murray but not much. Thanks for sharing
Yesterday was one of the best day we have had with little to no wind. Good to hear you found some.

I braved the wind at cane creek with one of my boys today. We managed 4.
Water temps were still hovering around 60.
All were caught near a channel pushing minnows slowly. Fought the wind all day. It was 30mph when I was getting the boat ready to travel. Didn't brave the main lake since it was white capping. All fish were caught from the no wake zone to the island.

Yes the water surface is warm and fish are down. I think the crappie have been taking some of Bretw's meds because they are all screwed up right now. Even the bait is staying down.
