Hi George, you are right it is a hard lake to fish, I spider rig a lot myself there. I don't fish there until Feb. and Mar. seems to be the only time I catch them there, after that it gets tough. Have a hard time catching fish along Lakeshore Dr. side so I will start around Dead river and work your way around west side of lake, stay about 20 to 30 feet off grass line this time of year. Haven't had no luck in the grass. Just have to work around the under water weeds with the low water so I just use a 1/8 jig and color white and chartreuse seems to work best for me. Tipped them with minnows sometimes. I fish about 3 ft deep in about 5 fow. Last week before the full moon was good but now they seemed to be scattered. Did catch 14 keepers yesterday and the bite was early and they got lock jaw after 10:30. Anyways I hope this will help you there and good luck.

Harold, Slab did a server upgrade/change and the like button dissapeared for a bit. Thats what Phantom was moaning about.

good for you and especially for paying it forward. give bunch of my extra's to the neighbor who sold us our house and who loves to eat fish just doesn't know how to catch them, plus the contankerous neighbor and my kids.

will be in villages week of march 4th and want to fish griffin and around there, with my buddies who were at the lake griffen get to gether.
