Fine catch!!You need to catch a big bunch of those white crappie and keep them alive and transport them to the Big G LOL .Those catches looked like what we use to do in the 60's and early70's on the big G as there were no black crappie to be seen then just the big whites. I am thankful for all the black crappie we have now on the Big G and a white crappie will surprise once in a while though. Not sure how the lake would be without the black crappie that's for sure!!

Normally we catch a few blacks down there but it was all white Crappie this trip. First time I had been in 5yrs, I had gotten a good lead that they were catching them. Only thing I did different was that I did not go to the part of the creek where everyone was at. I decided to go back to where I fished the most when I was fishing there every year. On Sunday I never had a boat fishing in the area I was in. Guess one reason the fog set in right after making my stop! After catching my first 3-4 fish I trowed a marker.....But with the fog it was 10:30 before finding it!

I haven't crappie fished up there in years myself but I think I'm going to give it a try that will be alot closer for me.
