Thread: Old Town Lake @ Lake View

Just wondering about the crappie fishing there. Visited the lake last year in late may last year to catfish

Water is about 18" lower than normal, which makes a lot of the lake very shallow. Stumps are really a problem right now. Temp yesterday was 62. The water around the landing was green, but got better to the east. The only people I talked to that had fish only had a couple, but that was a lot more than I caught. Just doesn't make sense to me, with the conditions that are there, that the fish just weren't biting (for me)
