I took my favorite fishing partner out for a quick 3 hour trip on President's Day since he was off from school. We caught over 20 crappie with 13 keepers. We also caught yellow bass and a nice little drum.

We were long lining Bobby Garland Baby Shad, Mr. Crappie paddle tail grubs and Berkley ripple shad in the Harrison Bay area like every other fisherman in the Tri-state area. I only live 5 miles from the Hwy 58 ramp at Wolftever Creek and it is crazy there this time of year.

The water temperature was 50-54 degrees where we were fishing. Most of the fish we found were in the 6-8 ft range and very close to the bottom.
I hope everyone is having a great spring.

Looks like an early spring! Congrats on a fine day on the water.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
