    Went to Academy today looking at some rods when one of the employees told me he bought the rod I was looking at for $1.98 he had a handheld scanner and he scanned it and was $1.98 so I bought 5 rods at the San Marcos store, but the 9 ft are $14.99 clearance price only 10 ft on sale

    academy just opened in STL area and actually have sale items everytime i go there, unlike BPS, Gander mountain and walmart. will have to stop by today and look around to see if they have anything like that. great buy!

    I know yawl won't believe this but I got one 10 and one 12 in those rods here in ft worth on clearance .....1.98 cents each is what they cost here ....my buds bought everyone of them and gave me one of each .....stay tuned I used the 10 the other day and might just use it soon again .....the 12 had a 99.99 tag and the 10 a 49.99 tag on them btw .....they are ok if you are into the longrod thing .....
