Thread: Weather has Cherokee slabs biting

Been catching a few on Cherokee the last couple weeks tightlining jigs and minnows. Been out 3 times and managed a limit + every trip (Jeffrovol helped me out last Saturday!). Water is varying from 46-49F depending on the area fished. The depth of the fish varies too. They seem to shallow up in water warmer than 48F. Found fish in 18' one day, then 8' a few days later. The warm weather and steady water levels seems to have em turned on.
