Default Fishing report, 17 Feb 2017, Weiss

Launched out of Little River Marina, armed with some crappie tags, and hopeful to catch a money fish. Didn't happen but we kept 29 keepers after fishing from dawn to dusk. Conditions were good with a slight southeast breeze during the middle part of the day. We are still finding fish in 20-24 FOW but the size of the schools seem to be a bit smaller now - and moving more. This time, we were pushing jigs, which was new to us but we did fairly good in spite of our lack of experience in pushing. I didn't check the water temps until late in the afternoon and it was reading around 53F at the water surface. We are still using BG Mayfly - hard to try something else when these
seem to be doing well. Plenty of boats around, but everyone was respectful. Another good day on Weiss.

You're not kidding, slow and you can barely detect the bite. We missed many fish, some really good ones got away and we threw back a bunch of short ones.
