    Default SNA Tourney Trail Event Saturday Feb 18th



    SNA Krappie Masters would like to invite all of our crappie.com friends and family to come out Saturday February 18th to Taylorsville Lake state Park (Possum Ridge Ramp) and join us in our next Trail Event
    Registration @8am
    Tourney start @ 9:30
    Chips in & weigh in @ 1:30
    Costs for tourney
    $10 per Angler yearly club membership
    $25 per boat entry fee
    $10 Big Fish (optional)
    Payout top 3 places
    Payout big fish

    Registration will be held at the pavilions just atop the hill leading to launch

    Weigh in will be held in the launch Parking lot
    (Invite anyone interested to come watch weigh in)

    This tourney will be 5 fish limit , must meet 9" size limit, and must be alive at weigh In , five fish that are weighed will be returned to water, any legal method for crappie fishing maybe used .

    this is a fairly new group with the first tourney last Sept. and even when there was really bad weather there have been at least 10 boats fishing. The group is growing steadily with new people coming all the time.
    The S N A is for Spencer Nelson and Anderson county, but don't think it is exclusively for those county I'm in Jefferson and thete some from other counties as well.
    This first year all tourney's are at Taylorsville Lake, but there are plans for more lakes to be added as time goes by. Todd is working very hard to pull all this together and is doing great on it, but it takes time to develop a good and growing group
    As Todd said if your in the area or just interested come by the state part boat ramp at Possum Ridge and check it out.

    I wish there was a tournament east of Lexington. This one is a little too far for me

    As Mr louis posted we will be expanding the trail in the upcoming year tourneys at green river, possibly Cumberland , possibly barren we'd love to have you join us Jman and I promise ya would have a blast if you have any questions don't hesitate to call (502) 345-1464 we have guys driving from Manchester , hazard , Richmond and Columbia already and we are excited to see them come if we may be of any help please never hesitate to call

    I wouldn't mind making the trip. I actually enjoy road trips. I just don't know how I would do on the bigger lakes with my little boat. It's just an 8ft sundolphin sportsman. But if you ever have one close to me I'll definently try to make it!

    The tourney went great lots of folks out to support and a lot of really nice fish caught ! For all the nay Sayers on tville check out the size of this black crappie
