Sounds like a plan to me Brother Lavelle! Let us know how you do. I got a farmers market Saturday morning but plan on hitting Bundicks for an afternoon trip with my ole man.

Well, our two oldest grandchildren both get out of school at 11:30 Friday morning. Since they live in West Monroe and just a few miles from one of my favorite fishing holes, D'Arbonne Bayou, I am going to leave home early Friday morning and fish a few hours before I meet them at their house and pick them up to spend the weekend with Mawmaw and Papa. I haven't seen a post from that part of D'Arbonne Bayou, which is the section that runs from Joe Bob's toward the power line crossing, in a long time, but hope to find a few on the laydowns and stumps up and down the bayou.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.

Live updates would be cool!
Well, the highlights of my early and short trip to D'Arbonne Bayou was meeting a fellow crappie.com member, jhallmark5841, and picking up my grandchildren. Actually, jhallmark5841 went with me after we met at the landing. He is a transplant from Alabama and a very nice young man who has only lived here for about 1 year and was looking for some help in learning a little about D'Arbonne Bayou. Unfortunately, the fishing was the pits. Water was high and muddy. Only caught one goo. But the mission was accomplished. I made a new friend and got the grandchildren home safely. Thank You, Lord!
