    I caught one of those that weighed 8 3/4 pounds on Christmas Eve of 2015. It was a heck of a fight on an 11' jig pole.

    I think I got lucky, when I got it in the boat it broke my line flopping around. Barely fit in my net.

    Nice hybrid and mess of crappie to go with it thanks for sharing. A couple weeks ago I caught a 16 lb blue cat on a 14 ft rod. Almost wore me out.
