I fish the west side of the delta out of Mt Vernon and McIntosh, not familiar with the eastern side, wish I was.

I live in Turnerville but fish over on that side quite a bit. Bay Minette creek, Dennis Lake, McReynolds lake, Big Bryar.

I left Cliffs landing yesterday and caught 15 huge ones on a jig under a cork fishing about 2 ft. deep. They were starting on beds cause when I got there the water temp was 58, by 1:00 it was up to 65 and they started biting and they were all black as smut. Went back today to the same place, fished the same way and caught only 5 and had to fish hard to get those. They were there, but they would just play with the jig a little and quit. The water temp today was 60 when I got there and 62 when I left.

I plan on fishing out if Cliffs on Friday. I am not asking to reveal where you were catching those fish, but can you give me an idea what creek ? Our plans were to fish Briar or Dennis.

99% of my fishing is done North of the I-65 bridge.
