Good pics. Looks like some really good ones. Yes, Mark sometimes them non-targeted species can pull the line tight. Richard knows he outdid me not just the bass but the perch he caught, seemed like he had some fun pulling it in. Of course it ended up going back in by my end of the boat.....splash!

dep if you went thru college mound there where T and C meet that's where my place is, you drove right by us or if you came up the T ramp. we were fishing there around the put in. not too bad a day for just fishing off shore.

Have NEVER seen so many boats and people on the Rip rap fishing on the causeway and they were catching some nice buckets full of crappie. As Mark said I like to hang out on the lone dock there and talk to everyone who comes in, find out how they did and where they fished, yes I am that guy. but people don't mind and they tell me lots of valuable information. Amazingly the guys with the fancy boats and electronics didn't do as well as you would think and the local guys on the rip rap with their bobbers and long poles were catching more and bigger fish than they. It's been a strange lake to figure out and my buddy and I are having a lot of relative success. Catching a LOT of almost keepers and smaller fish which bode very well for year class hatches and the future.

It is hot right now if you can find the brush and away from the usual spots, which everyone locally knows and hit hard. you get away from those and you catch limits of very nice slabs. I do well in fishing public places but a little differently.

A buddy and I caught our limits of 11-13 inchers there yesterday fishing main lake brushpiles. We didn't get there until 10am. There were 3 guys hogging up the dock (LOL) and I didn't want to bother them so we put in at the little side ramp next to the T ramp.

That was us, three old guys. I thought that was the handicap fishing dock for us old guys. Glad you guys had a good day of fishing also. If you came by the dock I am sure you talked to Keith. Thanks for your report.
