Thought of that one too.Interesting thing is the motor is so dead that it won't even show charge level. Brand new Exides with full charge when I left home. Run time today was maybe 45 minutes. Go figure.

    Thanks again.

who installed that trolling motor ??? it sounds like to me you have a inline fuse breaker that needs to be reset !!! look for something like this !!!!

Now there's something I didn't think of. Great thought. I'll be looking at first light tomorrow.

So I checked this AM for the circuit breaker and couldn't find anything that bore any resemblance to strmwalker's post. Called the dealer and he said there was a breaker. Looked again - I don't see one. Called back and after a lot of confusion he explained that it is on the positive post - lo and behold there's this itty-bitty box with a way small button - pushed it and it clicked. I'm now operational. It's only 50 amp and I have no idea what tripped it

Thanks for everybody's help and excuse my ignorance.

You were getting a surge of electricity or you were overheating. Mine did that on the pontoon and it's the one like pictured, the automotive one. We were pushing along good and bam nothing. Glad Uncle Remus remembered to check it. Hope you replace it with a better circuit breaker.

Glad that was all it was. 50 amp should be fine. Most of us learn the hard way usually on the water when the fish are biting.

from what I see in the picture , it looks to be a 12volt trolling motor setup, with that said if you was using your trolling motor on Greenwood yesterday a stayed on it hard in the wind , it probably got hot a tripped the breaker !!!! and I should have told you to look at the positive side for the breaker that would have helped a little !!!!
