I mounted an aerator inside a compartment on a fused circuit to the battery with a toggle switch. Run a hose to my Engle. Keeps lots of minnows and is quite.

I appreciate it and D batteries probably aren't the cheapest thing to run all the time does the cooler come with a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug by chance

Lots more of guys do like Rockmike said and put a 12v pump in a compartment somewhere on their boats and run an air hose to the front for the bait boxes or coolers. You can do the same thing with an oxygen setup and it's quiet regardless of where you put the bottle. You can actually strap it to the deck. NO noise at all with oxygen.

Mine didn't have the cigarette lighter option on the pump that came with it, or at least it didn't come with the cord for one. I used a Frabil pump I already had on my Engel that works both battery and cigarette light plug.
