    Default helix chirp transducer

Looking at ordering a helix SI with the chirp, question is will my 1199 be compatable with that transducer?

You will be able to turn off CHIRP and set the unit to normal fixed frequency to share 2d/DI/SI to the 1199 ...

The Mega 1200kHz will not share to the 1199 ...

I'm not 100% sure yet if the DI shared to the 1199 will be blended DI or dedicated DI from the Mega xducer ...

John ..... Which Helix model? Is it the gen1 12 or one of the Gen2's? What do you mean by compatible? If it is a gen1 12, the transducer will be the same as the 1199 ..... If it is a gen2 9, 10, or 12 mega unit.... you won't be able to connect that transducer to your 1199 directly, but can share as Rickie described.

Bob, it's a Helix 12 Chirp SI, it's not the Mega.

Gotcha ..... It uses the same transducer as the 1199....That 12 should work really well with your 360.
