    The current version is 7.650 for the 1199 ...

    HB has always been good about offering updates for previous units up until the point the hardware can no longer support the changes in the newly released software version ...

    We really don't know if the 1199 will be included in versions past 7.650 ...

    I signed up for update notifications on my 999 when I bought it but have never had a notification. I assume it's as good as it'll ever get. Hate I bought the 999. Wish I'd waited another year.

    There are some holes in the notifications ..... Check the version on your unit and then go check your Humminbird account to see what is available for download.
