Have camped in the State Parks at Grenada and Enid for over 40 years..have never heard of anything being stolen. . I'm sure there could be anytime..I would worry more about what is left in a truck on the ramps

I completely dissemble my pontoon and carry it in the room and reassemble whole boat next morning! Then we have to sleep in the truck because there is not enough room for us. LOL.

i take everything out I can. Had a couple rods stolen 2 years ago at motel in Grenada. About a month later at a different motel in Grenada, I set one of the large rat traps in one of the storage bins in my boat and left it unlocked and caught the guy red handed. It broke 3 of his fingers and it cost him about 1200 bucks and a night in jail.

While working as a temp at Enid we had things stolen from time to time but only the years they drove off with several vaults ( camping and day use ) was it really bad . Yes they were finally caught . lol

Ever since that bass fisherman was robbed and killed I would take everything to my room and stay armed while I'm doing it

Have to be careful setting traps. There was a case sometime ago where a guy got robbed so much he booby trapped a shotgun and nearly killed the thief. He was charged and convicted of attempted man slaughter or some such stupidity.
If I had been on the jury he would have goiten a medal. But there are laws that protect the guilty so be careful.
What I considered doing was getting one of the motion detectors and put the sensor in the back window of my SUV and the receiver in my hotel room. They work pretty good but you might have some false alarms when someone walked by.
