    Default High Rock


    Fished High Rock today water temp 48 degrees+- stained and a little breezy. Kept 30 largest 13in most were in the 10 in range. Found them around 17 fow. Slip cork and minnows.

    I've never fished High Rock but would be interested in making the 2 hr drive if I knew where to start. Any suggestions? are there bait stores around that sell minnows?

    I fished flat swamp creek Saturday and everyone was catching them. Most were pulling jigs. It is about 16 to 20 foot where everyone was at. Lot of crappie caught Saturday even in the wind. We tried crankbaits first and didn't do any good. Then did jigs for about an hour. Caught probably 15 and kept the biggest 8 for supper. nccater there is a landing right on #8. That is where we put in.

    Thanks for the help. at least gives me a starting point. I love fishing the Yadkin chain.
