Does anyone know of a good program that will allow me to upload and download way points to and from my HDS 9 to and from my home computer.

If you edit your waypoints, it is best to purge your existing waypoints in the OS before importing your edited waypoints. If you just edit names, you will have 2 identical waypoints with different names. If you choose to allow OS to add identical waypoints, then you can have a mess on your hands.

    Always have a backup plan.

I'm not sure if I'm asking the right question. I want to look at a map on my computer pick out some spots on the lake that I want to sink brush on then down load them into my Lowrance.

I understand using a memory card but first I need a program that will allow me to access a map and to Mark waypoints on that map before I can load them to a memory card.
