I'll have my 8 year old nephew this weekend. That's too tight of a spot to fish with him with all the the trees and the two mile, double row of boats that'll be there.

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.
I went today and only caught 14. I caught 14 yesterday too. The numbers are dropping for me so now I'll be looking for my next honey hole.

Yep Bossier Rob, to hit 26 Sunday while it was raining , is awesome. I was out there Sunday after church and the bite was so slow that I regret coming. My friend fished Sunday from 10-5 and only caught 15 and I fished 1:30 to 4:45 Sunday and caught only 10. I'll never fish in the cold rain again. But I may give it one more try because the spots I want to go are dead right now. 80 degrees in winter is crazy. This is the time when every one should be catching coolers. I catch crappie year round so Toledo Bend is the next spot where those big black 2 lbers bite good.

I fished Cypress this past weekend. That was Codie that slammed them on Cross. I was out there in the rain from 9:30-6:15. I lost my umbrella around 1:00 with one keeper, sat in the rain until it finally quit. Fish really turned on around 5:00. Scraped up 11 keepers, six good fish, threw back 6 or 7 dinks. Quit fishing when I couldn't see my rod tips and could only tell a fish hit from the rod tip splashing in the water.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to try PawPaws in the morning 2/9. I don't know what they're going to do with this wacky weather. I heard there was a bunch of boats in there today for a weekday and folks were catching a few.
Who's going to pawpaws tomttow
