Well between geezer winds and bass tournament crowd the grandson and I was still able to catch some fish. Kept 18 and thru back about same amount. Catching them close to the grass line in about 5 to 7 fow and seen some guys catching em in the pads. Have a friend of mine who is wearing them out in Lake Dora in the grass, think they are fixing to be on fire in the chains.

Good deal, great pics, thanks for sharing. I have found the same pulling Slab Rigs and even small crankbaits near grass in about 6 feets of water.

Great morning. Glad to see reports on the positive side from that chain of lakes. Been a while since folks were excited up there.

There were a bunch of bassets out there. Saw several folks crappie fishin'. A fishin' bud has a tournament there next week week, so, I used my once-a-month bass outing to help him prefish. He was happy with the patterns we put together. Don't think pushin' or pullin' would have worked where we were - too many clumps of hydrilla. But, the grass and the pads sure looked inviting. Next week I'll be back to speckin'.😀
