    Default Lake Bistineau- 2/4/2017


    Juicy and I headed for Lake D'Arbonne today. Put in before daylight and fished till 9 and caught one fish. Fish were stacked in the Channel but wouldn't bite. So, we headed to the Port of Bistineau at Lake Bistineau at 9 and we were fishing by 10:30. We were desperate for a good Crappie Couvillion. Found the fish in 18'-20' FOW, we fished 14' FD. We used some jigs that Duckcomando had tied up. They were the ticket to some good Crappie. We caught 45-50 fish and we kept 28. We had a great day "feeling the thump".

    Man, that looks yummy! Congrats on your catch guys. Sounds like it was a good idea that you didn't waste time before moving. I need to figure out where this port of bistineau is. May have to try it some day.
