Between the honey-do's I was able to squeeze in a few days fishing on the Rez. Water temp was 52°-56° on the main lake and I saw 58° in a few oxbows up river. I had a tough time finding a pattern this time around. I seemed to catch a fish every where I went, but that was it! Just one fish here in 30 fow and then one fish in 15 fow another one in 20' and then one more in 12'. Best luck I had was in 15 fow about 10' down in the main river channel. Seems like this warm weather and lack of rain/current had the fish pretty spread out. Caught about 10 each day and had some beautiful weather to enjoy! My camera/phone took a swim so no pictures this time around.

A likely story...about the phone that is. Like you told me the other day: no pics or it didn't happen!! Naw man, just jerking your chain. Definitely beautiful weather this week. Catching 10 a day is pretty dern good in my book.

Definitely a few fun days! They made me work for it and I don't mind that a bit. It was a really weird bite. No tap, no lift, the rod tip just looked weird. Best I can describe was it just looked heavy. The fish would just every so slowly pull the tip down and inch or so. If you weren't paying attention, you would never a have known he was there and he would be gone. You just had to look for the tip that wasn't quivering and snatch it up!

Maybe they will pay the bill!! Rotfl! Better not be any long distance calls....

With this weather I had no idea what to expect. I marked a lot of fish everywhere I went. My first day out I caught only black crappie, which I have not done in ages.
