Default here you go Mike bait holder and plastic.

Mike ask me to come up with an ideal of putting a bait holder in plastic I took a brazing rod and got hot and poked it to the plastic and took a piece of plastic tubing put it in the whole so all you have to do is take a crappie nipple and smash it into the tubing. no guys we are not going to make these.

Nice idea Bob. I think I will take a brazing rod and stick it up the rear end of my 2" minnow lure but not go all the way through the lure. I will do it longitudinally so I can take a bait pump and just squeeze some scent up into the lure.

This is my concept of "Brazing " the minnow part way through the bottom large enough for the Bait Pump Nozzle...

Then I also like the idea of trying to make my own floating jig heads, The fish pills are terrific for this concept Bob. I will take a black marker and put eyes on them.

All I used was a #4 jig hook. I threaded it through the fish pill.

Then I put a tiny hook snap on a line. Attached the line to a sinker and put on the floating jig. This simulated what it would look like on the lake floor about 3 feet off the bottom.

How about them apples. Soon as I braze a few baits, this setup should "Rock on!" What do you think Bob?

It should work good Mike and would look like a real little fish floating around in water. don't tell nobody but I have some floating plastic coming we are doing some field testing for a company and we will gladly send you some stuff to mess with to see if you like it just let me know which plastics that you would like for samples that float in the water. we are coming out with the pro-Syrian jelly jig it will be 50-50 on the body so I'm Apple to make electric chicken and all the other good ones we will post later.

this would be a good ideal for Leonard to make a built-in bait pocket in plastic baits I'm sure the idea would go over big if they come up with a plastic bait that would have a pocket in the rear end.

They weigh almost nothing. Should be easy for the fish to inhale and not feel any weight or resistance.

I think Wally Marshall has a lure with a butt pocket on the market now.

Anything that has a tube or minnow like shape. That is 99% of what I prefer to fish with because of their proven record of success. The floating rig concept above worked best on a Carolina Rig set up and has floated the tube 35 hours straight so far without sinking. It is constantly and continuously moving in the test tank. Just imaging how it will sway and undulate with the lake currents. I will go out today and try and find some model car paint so I can use drill bits and put two tone eyes on them.
