My daughter seen you catch one when we were up toward the top of hidden lake and I thought I'd never get her out of there. I told her it was probably a perch. We didn't get a bite in there this time.

Great post Eddy! Me and Ray were right there with y'all. We managed to find 3 fish to bite and caught a 4th that was too short. As hard as I pulled I couldn't get him past 7.75" LOL

It was just another one of those days. Seems like it's been that way 3 out of the last 4 years we've fished Greenwood in January too. The fish are definitely there, but they sure weren't interested in our offerings. And the wind and cold didn't make for an enjoyable day on the water either LOL I have never seen a weigh-in like we had Saturday and we might not ever see it again. Normally, when you have 12-15 boats fishing someone is gonna find them. That was not the case Saturday. O well, we'll get our chance again in a few weeks on Murray. I expect that one will be a struggle as well though...it sure is fun trying to figure them out!

One of my buddies said the winning boat had 4 fish with a total weight of 7+ pounds. They also won big fish with a 1.9# (I think).
That was indeed a tough day.

It was a crappie I caught in hidden lake. She was around 1.5lbs. Caught another similar fish up the lake near river fork and caught a largemouth in he back of cane creek.

I'm not 100% sure but 2nd had 7 fish @ 6.50lbs and 3rd had 6 fish @6.40 but I'm guessing but they were all in the ball park.
