A couple of buddies and I come down from Kentucky last Sunday night, Jan. 22 to just get away from work for a few days and do a little fishing. Wind was bad Monday so we didn't even fish. Fished all day Tuesday and 3 hours Wednesday morning before having to head back north. Ended up having a very good trip. Think we ended up with around 90 keepers and was one of the only boats out.Got a GoPro for Christmas and played around with it for the first time. I'll include the YouTube video link of the video I made of our trip, hope you enjoy.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Thank you very much Spaceman. I'm always humbled by Alabama hospitality. Hopefully one day I'll move that way after retirement. I've been coming down for about 8 years and have learned so much from the locals. Terry Whaley especially, always willing to help out anyway he can.

Looks like y'all had a great time that's what it's all about. Was y'all trolling ?
Nice couple days of fishing! Looks like yaw had a great trip!
Too blessed to be stressed!
crappiecrazy fireman you by any chance work with a guy by the name of doug simpson ?
No Sir, I've known Doug since I was a kid though. He's on Danville Fire Department and I'm on Lexington.
Worked with him for several years in Richmond. Would love to run into him some time. Loved your video. Have fished Weiss for many years. The crappie itch is getting bad in my house as I just retired yesterday.
Congrats on a great trip. Looks like you managed to put a few in the cooler!! WTG With the trolling picking up, I need to get down that way for a day on the water.
