Skip, I am not sure what you mean by using a brush. Could you enlighten this old fart. I like the jigs you did but they resemble my flashibou.

I don't have a pic right at this time, but will. You can look on flytying material stores online and look up dubbing brushes. This one is more flash and not really dubbing and is a pretty wide one, but what it is, they take dubbing or what ever materials they want between the wires take two very thin wires and twist it really tight u till it looks like one with this sticking out two sides. This is called a dubbing brush.

I told ya you'd like using brushes! I can see a real advantage to tying with them, but I can also see where it will be expense as it takes a lot of material to maker a brush. But the color combos can be pretty endless.
I think done correctly a guy can get some colors not seen before on jigs and flies using brushes.
