    Default Riptide ilink

Thinking about upgrading to this motor, anybody have any experience with the RIPTIDE? Is is close to the same thing as the terrova? I felt like this was a great price for the link....any input would be appreciated before I make a bad purchase lol

Why not go with the 80 lb thrust?? Never have too much power if you have room for the batts and when you upgrade again the 24V will be easier and quicker to sell.

80 lb means extra battery and more money over all....I'm gonna be getting another aluminum boat to hunt and fish out of and the 55 lb is plenty of power for that

I have the 55 and it's been a good motor for me. That one has a better paint job to fight corrosion and I think it has a couple of extra o"ring seals on the motor. That's only difference and that's a good price for the link.
