Really!

The coop may be good this weekend with the colder weather but I haven't heard any reports.

I haven't fished the coop since the early 80s, but I sure want to... It was incredible back then!

The coop needs water temps to stay in the 50s for at least a week and not a lot of rain. The rain situation has been right this year but we can't get more than 2 days of cold weather at a time.

With this up-and-down weather we've been having, doesn't surprise me. At this point, I really prefer not to get the extreme cold (for us) required for the Coop from here on. It's settling nicely for the blacks up against the banks in the grass. That's my favorite on Toledo Bend. A cold snap on occasion, then warm days following, will put them in position nicely come the end of February.
