It was almost over the launch wharf. Only one other boat and he was just trying out his motor. Felt really bad for him as he dropped the boat on the ramp launching.

Really enjoyed the drive though and seeing some different country.
Man John, I should have contacted you Saturday but I knew I was only going to have half a day to fish b/c I had the farmers market that morning. Don't give up on it yet, I plan on having a get together there before too long but waiting for the other gatherings to finish. Would really love to have you come to that too.

Do they have any cabin rentals around there? That might make it better if you could fish all day without driving/

Yes John, they have the Bundicks retreat center and they are not anything fancy but they are CHEAP! Like $30 to $35 a night. I believe there are 2 beds, a shower a small fridge and a microwave, don't know if they have a stove or not.
Here is a link and as is the case with all stuff posted on the internet, these pictures were when it was new but it will give you an idea of the place. They also have a put put course, a volleyball net and a small tennis court at least that is what I saw when I drove through it a couple of weeks ago.

JR, I don't worry about the others but the place I fish is small so when there are 3 other boats out there when you get out there, there isn't any room for me to fish. But that's ok, I have a few other holes that I know about and building others.
