    Does anyone know what color the old Mississippi jig was?

    White head, chart body, and orange tail is what ive known. Im sure any combination of those colors could be called a Mississippi jig.

    Homer crappie and Tbone are 100 percent correct....main body is chartreuse colored chenille type body/ orange kip tail.
