Good job John. Folks that don't realize how hard that lake is to unlock for species besides the White Perch, don't know how big of an accomplishment this is. Lake is clear, shallow and is extremely difficult for an "outsider" to figure out. Most people give up on it, before they catch any good fish. It has some of the nicest crappie, white perch and shellcrackers around, if you can find them.

I agree 100%, I fished it for a few years, and only caught a few white perch big enough to eat. We caught those by seeing them bust the surface. Everything else is always small. I have caught some nice bluegills on accident, drifted into shallow water, and was not paying attention. But I have pretty much given up on it.
Fishing is a science, study, experiment, fail, and succeed...then start over tomorrow. Yeah I'm a science guy.
