That's the truth. I can't stand folks that do that. Living out in the country with a very long limestone driveway through the woods, all kinds of things get dropped off here on occasion. I know good and well those folks know better. I mean some drop off trash right in the middle - not even off the side. Even when I get my mail and newspaper off the highway, I have to pick up trash that folks pitch out of the window. Fast food items, drink cans, etc. Don't see the point in that at all.

Many times when I launch my boat, I see trash laid about. I have watched people just walk around it. I have a milk crate in the back of my truck that stays there. It's sole purpose is for trash I have to pick up.

We live in a beautiful state with beautiful water ways and nothing irritates more than starring at a picture perfect seen of a bald eagle in a cyprus tree or a gator sunning him self on the bank and then see a beer can or a bunch of trash float by.

Do you fish deer park area?
I've got a neighbor here who has a camp somewhere up there. When he goes, he catches really nice fish.
Although, he can catch in a corn field during a drought. Prob best sac fisherman I've ever met.

I think local governments could help the situation of dumping by having designated dumping sites. Once a week they could come in with a loader and truck and scoop it all up.

Look through it. I do to see if there's anything with a name and address on it. Then I turn them in to the sheriffs department. Even if it's not the persons mail that dumped it they generally know who did it or have pretty good idea of who it was.
