Foggy day made it beautiful...fish 8 to 3.....old spots did not produce...I think the fish are almost ready to spawn...no bites till 2 PM then found all these bass on one point...6 on crankbait, 1 on shiner..... big bass 15"....threw back 5 small bass....same kind of trip as Monday when I took wife's brother out...no bites till 2...7 keepers in an hour...except Monday was sacs and Saturday was bass...strange indeed....
Sometimes when I am trying to learn fishing I feel like I am a first grader....but the "on the job training" is a lot more fun.....retired 8 years and I think I have a lot more fishing to do to make up for all those pretty days looking out the office window wishing I was on the water....
A safety note....I have a battery strobe light...bright & blinking.....so I taped it to the top of my rear pole running light and use it every time my navigation lights are on...sure feel safer that someone can see me especially in the fog....got it for $60 online some years back.....

Bruce you seem to be having the same problem as I, catching more bass than sacs.
