Default Kayak Trip Report, Indian Creek

I fished Indian Creek today from daylight till about 2PM. Every laydown seem to hold a couple fish, I had a limit by 11AM and continued to catch and release fish until I left. No slabs today and only ever third or fourth was big enough to keep, but fun day. I started the day with a Chartreuse Bobby Garland on a 1/16 jig head. The bite slowed when the sun came out and I changed to a 1/16oz white Marabou. The Marabou had the advantage of catching bass, stripe and gills along with Crappie.

The creek was a bit stained with visibility of about a foot. The water was 56 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 59 by the time I left.
