    Default Tenn Tom 1-14-17

Went with a friend to the Tenn Tom Waterway today. Didn't take my new boat cause it's not spider rigged yet. We got there late morning 10:30-11:00 searched and moved a couple of times then left around 4:00. The bite was slow and tedious but we ended up with 17 nice crappie for river standards. We haven't fished here since early November so I guess we did ok not knowing where to start. Really enjoyed such a beautiful January day on the water, rare indeed.

Wow! Nice crappie. You did real good seeing that the moon was full and the crappie were probably eating all that night before you went.
Be safe and good luck fishing

Nothing wrong with those! Just being out there on a January day with calm winds and 70 degree temps is a treat. A good catch like that is icing on the cake.
