    Default Kentucky Afield Segment

I get an email every week from Kentucky Afield about the upcoming weekend show. This week's email mentions they will be visiting someone who handcrafts crankbaits in Western Kentucky. Who Dat?

I bet it's a re run of the segment with Creek Candy lures in Bowling Green. I've never used them but the guy makes some nice looking baits.

Huge difference in plastic baits and custom crankbaits. There are lots of folks around here who carve and paint custom baits. I've heard of some of them selling for over $100.

The last guy from around here who was on KY Afield was more about losing cranks than making them. He and I have decorated some of the same ledges with too many cranks to count.

My problem is that I never consider Bowling Green as Western Kentucky. It is not even in the western third of the commonwealth.

We will know in a few hours.
