    Default Cane Creek Park 1/13

Hit the water about 8:30 ran back to the Dam looking for the bait in 30fow. Looked and looked but the bat was a bit shy today. Finally set up on some same bait balls to see if anyone was home. It was slow going all day one here one there, finally got 2 in one spot at 28fow fishing at about 20ft down.
Bait was scarce today I shouldn't talked about it last week.
Closed out the day with 7 the biggest was 13" smallest was 9".
That's enough to fry for dinner.
All tight line on minnows water temp 47 degrees
    Beats working!!

Scoop, you did good and I'm glad you went to test the waters again. Hopefully I'll be over the crud Monday. We may have to hit Wylie next week. Remus is ready and my brothers Wayne and Everett are too! We may have to get a couple of boats and rip some lips on these deep fish.

Still better than being stuck at home with 3 cracked ribs.
Won't be able to fish for about 6 weeks.
Can't wait for that 6 weeks to be over. This really hurts.
So glad you able to get out, find a few and get dinner.
Thanks for sharing and nice pics too.
Thank a Veteran every chance you get.

Wow hate to hear, be careful how you talk back to the wife!! LOL
Take care and you should be hitting the lake again right around the beginning of the spawn.

Thanks for the report ScooperDude. Looked like great weather weekend to be on the lake fishing.
