    Default Crooked Creek 1/12/2017

My 1st trip of the new year wasn't too productive. I fished from 2:30 to 5:00. I only caught 4, but they were nice . I had a 5th one in the boat, but he flopped around, unhooked himself and jumped back into the water.

I had an interesting sight. I heard a motor coming up the lake behind me. There were only 2 other boats on the lake. I turned around and saw this sea plane buzzing the lake. Pretty cool.

Also, on my way to the lake , I saw this . Anyone want a cheap steak?

It was a very nice afternoon. I plan on going camping there this weekend and doing some more fishing.

In case you can't make that last picture out, that's a dead cow loaded in the back of a pickup truck on his way to the dump.

Well, that looks like a mess of fish to me. Congratulations! Have fun this weekend and good luck with the fishing.

Did you try shallow, and deep? Those eggs on the fish there are bloody and they will move with the warm weather, water. All the fish in Larto are deep, but the eggs are not nearly as far along.
