    Default Henderson 1/12/2017

Not happening for me today. 7 rejects and 1 @ 11". Conditions have changed since I was there 9 days ago.

There has been a 1' rise, but it's down about .1' after the crest.

Water in Pelba looks nice, but the trolling motor boils up muddy water so it's not settled yet.

Temperature has dropped 4-5 degrees since the freeze.

Days of strong southerly winds. Rob calls it "breezy".

Moon was full last night which has often been very negative for me the day after.

End result it was fun until the wind picked up late morning.

The nice fish caught was 14' deep. Not many folks trying today.

At least you didn't sit around the house like I did. The temps made it oh so nice outside but the wind and high muddy water kept me home.

X2 what Mr. Gene said. At least you weren't stuck in the office or at home. And, at least you got to feel the thump. When the water gets right and the full moon leaves you will probably do better.

Agreed. Probably wouldn't appreciate catching if it happened every time.

I don't think they were biting anywhere today (in this area)....Sorry I missed you....I woke up at 4 AM...out the door at 4:20....hit the button to trim my motor and hardly any power.....cranking battery let me down for the second time...in 3 months....had a new one installed and charged up by noon.....might go this weekend.....
