Mr Gene, I've seen that illustration and a few videos on it and try to keep it in my head if'n it happens to one of the boys. If it happens to me I'm Gon push it on through and then clip the eye.

Adam if you've the stomach for pushing it through, save yourself some pain by griping with pliers and pulling it out backwards while pushing down and away from the barb. Human skin is tough, tougher than you think. It's no small feat to push a hook or even a sharp needle through skin. I watch a doctor sew up my brother in law's hand after he split it on broken glass. I thought he would never get the needle through the skin while coming from the inside.
