    Default Troller update/rebuild

Noticed the last time I was out my troller was a little weak and had a bearing noise. It's a 04 power drive that has worked like a champ for years, except for the transducer. Resealed ( had a little water in it ) and rebuilt the motor just short of the armature and case for $50. Added a Helix5DI, had to radius the nose cone a bit for clearance of the ducer plug and cut a slot for the wire in the built in ducerName: 20170101_221018.jpg

    nice work

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Looks like a good modification and rebuild.

That some mad skills. I'd just have to go buy a new boat.

That's pretty impressive to fix a trolling motor. I have heard and know from experience once there is something bad in the housing they are usually done for.

Thanks guys. I was wanting to go with the Terrova this year, but since it cost more than my old boat did a few years ago, figured I'll just keep this one going. Kinda surprised I found all the parts I needed. If I can keep this old boat chuggin for a few more years then like Jeff said it's new boat time.
