It doesn't happen often here in South La. but I've seen the bayou freeze and the next day on the thaw the fish were starving and would bite on anything.

......it was 12 deg when i left my house this morning. Barely and wind so the lake was awesome....dumb fish wouldnt bite, dumb fisherman for being out there.
