Default HAD A SCARE FIRST THING THIS MORNING

Fished dead river today started off great longlineing catching a few had my baby girl with me a Bichon . Had 15 lines out saw two deer at the shore then I heard a splash my dog jumped or fell in the water . She starts swimming beside the boat I grab the net can't get her in she ends up behind the boat swimming for all she's worth finally I cut off my i-pilot and pulled her in the boat . Well most of the lines got tangled or snagged after about 20 min. or so got things put back together . But I was so relieved that nothing happened to dolly all I could was laugh . Fished all day in dead river ended up keeping 24 .

Glad you got your dog back, and I have seen you on dead river with all them poles so I bet you did have a mess, I have seen you by yourself with all them poles don't know how you do it especially when you had 3 or 4 poles go off at the same time, seen you do that. Thinking about going there tomorrow or the Harris Chains, not for sure yet. Has the dead river cleaned up some, know there was some weeds floating in there. Glad you had a good day.

Dead river was clean of floating junk till I got right past fence at hontoon park then had to turn around .It takes me 2 hours to troll from start of dead river till I turn around after 4 curve without the i-pilot I wouldn't stand a chance like having extra person on the boat . I have lots of tangles especially when I get a gar or a frisky crappie. I'm going to try shell creek tomorrow . What kind of boat do you have floridaboy ?

Been there, done that. I have to keep mine leashed and tied off, can pull em right back in. Mine tend to decide to go for a stroll when close to pad fields in summer with gators hanging around.
